Born on the 4th of July, 1979 in Evansville, IN, Summer Marie Eliason grew up in Louisville, KY where she attended Sacred Heart Academy High School. She then attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where she obtained a B.S. Degree in Design Studies from the School of Architecture.

While at the University of Colorado, Summer completed a Semester at Sea abroad program where she had a chance to see much of the world. She also completed an architecture study abroad program in Rome, Italy before graduating in the spring of 2001.

After graduation, Summer spent six months in Telluride, CO where she worked for an interior designer at a small shop in town. It was there that she began designing jewelry and placing it in galleries around the country. Summer then moved to Denver, CO where she worked at the Denver Design Center for Scalamandre Fabrics and continued designing jewelry.

Currently, Summer is working as an interior designer at Jenkins Eliason Interiors while continuing to persue her jewelery design.
